As mothers, of small boys, Interior Decorator Kelly Niemandt, well understand what it means to be busy! This all said, it didn’t stop them from opening the doors to “New-Room Décor & Design” in September 2007.  When looking for Linen & Décor for my own children, I was shocked to discover the lack thereof in Port Elizabeth.  Thus, inspiring me to create my own Baby & Children’s ranges of Linen, Décor & Accessories,   sourcing Linens & Décor from local artists in & around d Port Elizabeth.  “We love to support Local!” has become one of their mottos! The business started small, by having linen parties (much like the ol’ Tupperware parties).  The parties became so popular, that the time came where they could no longer lug around the ever growing mountain of linen stock… hence the studio & the rest they say is history.

I am 100% passionate about the business, the products & the clients.  “My job is a happy one.  Most Ladies visiting us are pregnant & these are the most special & happy moments… & we are able to share it with them.”

Our Studio - New-Room Décor & Design Studio is situated in the heart of residential Walmer, Port Elizabeth.  at 178 Main Road Walmer. The studio boasts an eclectic mix of Vintage & Uber bright, for kids of all ages.  The girls strive to keep abreast with the latest styles trends… therefore the studio, is re-arranged each week by Kelly.  “It’s amazing to see peoples reactions to the showroom… Just change a cot & move an ottoman… & voila the look is completely different & new!”

Our clients - now our friends love coming back to peruse our new stock.  “We love having different & new stock, no two nurseries or bedrooms will be the same, once the item is sold or used for a clients job, the product is rarely re-ordered, unless it is one of our standard lines of accessories.”  The studio, is warm & inviting, with a big chair for visiting mums to feed their little ones!  Have a cup of (hot) tea & catch up!  We know all their clients by name & the service they offer is warm & personal.  If you are looking for the perfect Linens & Décor to complete your little noodles nursery or bedroom, look no further!
